It is really hard to like David Chang. He's done some good stuff and sometimes the words that come out of his mouth are really thoughtful, but then he pulls shit like this. Part of me wants to rationalize that we live in a capitalist society, businesses need to make money, blah blah blah. But like plenty of other brands are actually working together to support one another, so that way of doing things is possible! The Omsom folks created an incredibly thoughtful post and I love the phrase "rising tides raise all boats" as a way to encourage everyone to work together for collective success.
