CONGRATULATIONS ON BCLF 100!!!!!!!! I thought the internet was over when our Geocities went down, but you have given me 100 reasons to believe. I see how much you have grown into an even more YOU writer over the last two years - I hope you are as proud of yourself as I am.
All of the stories here are so wonderful! I'm gonna get me some of those bread with lentils ASAP - these are the hot tips the people crave!!!
I wrote a draft of a pesonal essay about my most cherished New York moment for you, but I couldn't get the sad parts to stop distracting from the uplifting ones so I never sent it in. In lieu of that: my Sunnyside crying bench was at a park two blocks from my apartment, where I would sit and cry forlornly because my heart couldn't take not having kids yet. My favorite picture in the world was taken six years later: all three girls sitting on that same bench eating ice cream. New York gives you markers like that, so you can see how far you've come.
And about your abundance of bookmarks, anything for the last weekend of the month going into June? (My sister's boyfriend wants to propose while they're in the city that weekend and has me on the hunt for ideas, I could use all the help I can get since i'm in California <3 )
Omg how exciting! I actually helped an old coworker plan a Central Park proposal, so if he doesn’t have a spot picked yet may I recommend the Shakespeare garden? It’s semi-secluded enough so they’re not surrounded by a million people and it also has a whisper bench and I can’t imagine anything more romantic than being whisper-proposed to in that garden.
For real though, DM me and let’s chat more. I’d love to help!
Congrats it's such a fun newsletter Eden! And I am so proud to be a TOP COMMENTER!
Thanks Anne! Way to keep the streak alive 😆
Very belated thank you to this amazing roundup! Congrats on BCLF 100!!

Congratulations! It's a hard work to write something for so long, but it's so satisfying for the writer and readers! Thank you!
