So lovely, as always. After watching Dogma I thought about how I sometimes wish I had more personal faith (as opposed to being religious, per se) to find comfort in, but the truth is, I do - somehow- have faith in humanity, like KSmith, and maybe that’s all we need. Also, did you see any Wu Tang monuments in Stapleton?
And I also prefer to have faith in humanity vs religion/God/etc. my therapist would say I’m a cautious optimist because even tho I feel like everything is awful, I trust that there are good people out there trying to make things better and I generally give folks the benefit of the doubt.
I like "cautious optimism" - it feels truer than constant optimism. I definitely think there are people out there making things better, they’re just drowned out by the ones making everything much worse
So truthfully, I was pretty in and out of Stapleton. It was hot as balls that day and after a round of mini golf and one set, we were pooped and had to retreat. I really want to go back and explore more tho!
