1 hour tours start at $40pp and prices may increase as the tour length increases, if food is included, etc. If price is an issue for you, please reach out to me anyways and we’ll figure something out; learning should be accessible to everyone.
I have one SoHo tour route set up at the moment, but here are some other topics and neighborhoods that I’d love to talk about:
SoHo, Chinatown, Lower East Side, East Village, West Village, Chelsea, Financial District, Bushwick, Clinton Hill, Ft Greene
Foods that originated in NYC
Washington Irving’s NYC
Toynbee Tiles
Architecture Styles (especially art deco and Beaux-Arts)
The subway
NYC Parks
Don’t see something you like? Reach out to me anyways and I’ll do some research! I welcome any and all topics, give me something weird to work with.
If you’d like an example of what a tour with me might look like, check out the Stuff in Sidewalks (in SoHo) tour I did for Jane’s Walk! I’m happy to run that tour for you or work with you to create something new.
In a city full of towering skyscrapers, everyone looks up—but on this tour, we’re looking down! Soho’s sidewalks are packed with endless bits of history and art that most people step right over. On this tour, you’ll see old vault lights, sneaky engravings, and other sidewalk oddities that tell the story of the neighborhood—its industrial past, artistic heyday, and everything in between.

So fun!
I especially love the last stop on this walk.
